Yehyang Lee (Wema) is a mid to high level speaker. Her fluency and listening comprehension skills are excellent. Her speaking and reading speed are very fluent and natural-sounding. In terms of grammar, she tends to make mistakes with prepositions (i.e. “Men were excluded to gender issues…” instead of “Men were excluded from gender issues…”) and verb tense (i.e. “It become a very big company” instead of “It became a very big company”). Her vocabulary is good for her level and will improve with exposure to new words and practice. In terms of her pronunciation, she has the most difficulty with pronouncing the letter “r” when she is speaking quickly. In general, I would recommend for her to slow down her speaking pace so she can focus on her pronunciation and grammar points. Overall, an excellent English speaker and it was a pleasure speaking with her.
