Hello! I'm Amy from Virginia, USA, and I’ve been an English teacher🍎 for 14 years Before this, I worked in Finance💲 and Marketing📈 for 12 years as a manager and lecturer. I have taught at many large corporations such as BP, Siemens, SAAB, Lukoil, and Czech National bank (ČSOB) and a couple of government ministries, such as the National Oil Fund of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani Ministry of Communication. 🏦 I have taught children👨👩👦👦 and adults🤵🏽, both online and in-person. I have also taught TOEFL, FCE and IELTS prep classes, and professionally assessed the English skills of prospective applicants at BP. My classes are extremely professional👩🏻🏫 and modified to the students' needs. I adapt the work to fit the student’s ability and learning style. I also coax students to speak as much as possible in class. 🎤 I have spent the past 14 years abroad🌏, teaching in Czech Republic, Turkey, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, China (online) and Georgia. I speak five languages💬, which I believe has helped me be a better teacher.
