Hi, I’m Sally! I live in Mississauga, Ontario, which is about 30 minutes away from Toronto by car. There are many things I like to do in my free time, such as watching Netflix and YouTube videos, listening to music, drawing, and taking photos of nice scenery while taking a walk outside. Until high school, I had to learn and study French, so I can relate to the nervousness of learning a new language. The last thing I would want when communicating in a new language is to feel embarrassed, frustrated about trying to find the most accurate way to express myself, and uncertain about what I’m trying to convey to another person. I believe that practice makes perfect. I want your interactions with me to be times when you can make a lot of mistakes and experiment with your English to find your style. So, each time you step out of class, you increasingly become confident and a better English speaker. How we study is up to you - we can simply have a conversation based on various topics, work with workbooks, news articles, short video clips, or do a combination of them.
