Canada's industry minister, François-Philippe Champagne, plans to meet with Rogers’ CEO in order to discuss ‘the reliability of networks across Canada.’ The minister also released a statement in which he called the outage ‘unacceptable’. This is the second large-scale outage that has affected Canadians in the last two years. In April 2021, many Rogers customers were unable to use mobile data due to an outage.
